When are 8U tryouts?

Skills Evaluations:

• 5:00pm-6:00pm Tuesday August 18th @ Fairfax Park

Game Play Evaluations:

• 5:00pm-6:30pm Wednesday August 19th @ Fairfax Park

• 8U Tournaments are Coach Pitch

When are games played?

• Games are typically play on weekends

Where are games played?

• For 8U all games are kept as local as possible. (Example, Eau Claire, Hallie, Altoona)

When do the teams practice?

• Once teams are formed the coaches will determine the practice schedule

How do I know if my child is the right age?

• Refer to the age chart below.

Do you have to play in a league to be on a ECB team?

• Yes, all players must play league at either Lowes Creek Baseball or American League in Eau Claire

Tryouts for this years teams will be held on August 18th-20th, please plan to attend both sessions.

• August 18th will be focused on skills stations.
• August 19/20th will be game style play.

Skills Evaluations:

• 9U/10U - August 18th, 6:00pm-7:30pm - Fairfax Park
• 11U/12U - August 18th, 7:30pm-9:00pm - Fairfax Park

Game Play Evaluations:

• 8U/9U - August 19th, 5:00pm - 6:30pm - Fairfax Park
• 10U/11U - August 19th, 6:30pm - 8:00pm - Fairfax Park
• 12U - August 20th, 5:30pm - 7:00pm - Lowes Creek Baseball - Gator Garb Field

9U Coach Pitch or Kid Pitch?

• 9U Tournaments are Kid Pitch, not coach or machine pitch.

When are games played?

• Games are typically play on weekends, some Thursday/Friday games are possible but limited.

Where are games played?

• For 9U all games are kept as local as possible, but some travel may be required.
• For 10U-12U games will have a mix of local tournaments plus some out of town tournaments in which travel/overnight stay may be required.
• Each team determines locations of tournaments

When do the teams practice?

• Practice schedules are determine by the team's coaches most practice 1 to 2 nights a week.

Do you have to play in a league to be on a ECB team?

• Yes, all players must play league at either Lowes Creek Baseball or American League in Eau Claire

Upon completing of your registration you will get a confirmation email from "Eau Claire Youth Baseball". If you do not receive this email make sure to check your junk mail.

What Happens After Tryouts?

Following the completion of all evaluations:

• Evaluation scores and evaluator notes will be carefully reviewed.
• Teams will be formed based on the complete evaluation process.
• Players selected for a team will receive an official invitation by email.

Please note:

• Invitations will be sent in multiple waves, so not all families will receive a decision on the same day.
• Families will have 48 hours to accept or decline their invitation.
• A $100 deposit will be due upon acceptance to secure your player's roster spot.
